Does this have to be bolted to the ceiling or is it with tension held to the ceiling?

This cat tree is not bolted to the ceiling. The top two posts extend to the ceiling, using pressure to stay in place.

Easy to assemble and the cats love it

They love the height and the love to be able to climb straight up. I think the feel like they are in a tree. The various levels allow the two cats to play and sneak

They love the height and the love to be able to climb straight up. I think the feel like they are in a tree. The various levels allow the two cats to play and sneak up on each other. The hammock/bowl is very popular with the cats. They enjoy sleeping in it or watching tv.
