I Wish I Knew Before I Bought

This cage was not worth the money. At all. It's spacious for my 2 birds who can't live together and being vertical it gives me more space in my home back, sure, but I'm scared it won't hold. Every time we flipped it to put the other side together, the bolts and the brackets holding the bolts fell out. We had to hammer them in and I might even gorilla glue or caulk over them to keep them in place. It took my husband and I over an hour to put together legitimately 8 pieces. We've had several bird cages and this one, the quality is just not there. Then the roof pieces didn't like up so we had to improvise on making that fit. Again, I have no idea how long this will hold but we just moved and my old cages are at the old place so I needed this to work. The other 2 complaints I have is that the bottom wire rack rests on the bedding tray, whereas every other cage I've ever had has a separate insert for it, so I don't like that at all. And there is no wire above either section of cage so we can't hang toys from above which really limits our options. Had I known these things, I wouldn't buy this product. I'll also be sticking with other brands and staying away from this one. It's a shame because it was promising, but right now all I can do is hope it stays together.
