Soooo easy to clean, and the stainless steel truly does help keep the smell very minimal. Even week old stuck urine etc wipes away clean. My cat loves the lack of roof on it as well, and being able to see the litter helps remind me to regularly clean it. I paired it with “World’s Best Cat Litter” Low dust control littler and it’s a perfect combo!

Idk why I've only upgraded to this now. The easiest to clean, high walls prevent our newly-indoor cat from kicking litter everywhere, and even looks better than standard plastic boxes. We use this + a trapping litter mat + corn based (flushable!) cat litter and it makes the worst part of owning a cat (cleaning a litter box) much less of a chore. A little extra money but a MUCH nicer piece of equipment for dealing with an unpleasant task.

I really like this litter box. I think stainless steel is the best option because plastic boxes can leach microplastics into cats’ bodies and they also hold odor. Stainless steel is cleaner, higher quality, and does not retain smell. This box feels very well made, and the brand seems solid. I do wish there were a slightly smaller version for petite cats like mine, since I end up using a lot of litter. But even so, with the little step and the curtain around the sides, it works well. For average or larger cats it is perfect, and even for smaller cats it still does the job beautifully. I pair it with a natural litter made from olive hulls that I found on Chewy (made in Europe), and together it is a great combo. I wash the box twice a month to keep it clean and hygienic. My cat has a very sensitive respiratory system, so I only buy high quality products for her. A good litter box is essential, and this one delivers.
