Can the animals move from floor to floor or is it more like 2 separate cages?

This rabbit hutch is more like two separate cages, it is not designed to allow rabbits to move from floor to floor.

Is there a way to attach 1”x1/2” wire to the tray to keep the bunnies off the tray for easier clean up and also have cleaner bunnies?

This hutch is not designed for additional wire attachment. The trays slide out for easy cleaning.

These hutches may look like a great buy and for the price you'd expect better quality. They are difficult to clean, pee, poop and bedding come out from behind the

These hutches may look like a great buy and for the price you'd expect better quality. They are difficult to clean, pee, poop and bedding come out from behind the cages. The plastic trays are cheaply placed in and fall out frequently when cleaning. They do provide great amount of room for the rabbits in them. But being wood the rabbits will gnaw on different parts of these. Had one bite the legs off. The top of the hutch has loose particles that fall out.

Not worth it

I bought this hutch for my rabbits. Putting it together was easy. The problem is it fails in function. First it does not have a wire bottom which from the pictures

I bought this hutch for my rabbits. Putting it together was easy. The problem is it fails in function. First it does not have a wire bottom which from the pictures I assumed it did. Once I realized this after putting it together, I thought no big deal. I put my rabbits in the hutch and in true rabbit behavior they urinated in the corner. The urine ran down the space between the tray and the wall and ended up in the bottom cage. The height and width of the hutch is not conducive for a litter tray. I would not recommend.
