First time using a stainless steel litter box. I wish I knew about these sooner. So much easier to clean and doesn't hold the smell. My cats would scratch the inside of the plastic one and leave claw marks and it was so hard to clean. I have had this stainless steel litter box for several months now and still love it and my cats love it too.

Been waiting for a stainless steel box that comes with a light colored hood and a carbon filter for ages. The stainless steal won’t absorb stink, and the white hood makes sure it’s not to dark for your kitty. Getting the two parts of the hood to snap together was a pain, which docks a star. I recommend snapping one long side first starting at a front corner and then realigning a snapping the other side. Make sure there is an audible pop for the snap. You might have to use your body weight. Should note that if your cat hates door flaps, the flapper CAN be broken off but you won’t be able to put it back. Because it’s broken now. So keep that in mind if you ever think you might want to put that flapper back.
