This is a neat concept but I’m not sure that I would recommend it for most people. The size at just under 30gal is nice but this is made for reptiles and the material is finished particle board that doesn’t fit together tightly in some spots and also doesn’t have any type of latch system to keep it closed. Also, most reptiles require some amount of moisture/humidity, im not sure that this terrarium would hold up long term without additional waterproofing methods being applied. Due to the material I would also be hesitant to use heating elements typically required for reptiles. Overall, I would be extremely choosy about what type of reptile I put in this terrarium considering heating, humidity levels, and how easily the reptile might be able to escape.

This is a very cute enclosure. BUT. It was very hard to put together, the fasteners had an odd plastic piece that was not on any illustration, it took trial and error to realize it was a spacer that seems like it should have been pre installed in the hole. Instead you havr to pound the whole assembly in with a hammer or mallet which flaked off some of the seemingly very thin veneer. And as I was putting it together I was like “veneer” in a potentially wet environment? Not a great choice. It is going to bubble the moment any water spills. Last I checked even desert reptiles need a water source even if you are only misting them daily. A tropical setup would ruin this thing FAST, just in my opinion. Snakes? Decently mobile lizards? Nope. The lif stays down only by gravity and both of the above would easily lift it enough to either escape or crush themselves. There is no way to lock it either! So what animal is this FOR? Rodents would easily chew through the flimsy almost cardboard piece at the back. This seems like a staging prop for a house showing vs a real livable habitat for a reptile. My cats however found it fun to lay inside of!

It's Okaaaaaaaayy

Nothing special about this thing. Glorified Swedish brand furniture? No tools included. Weird wanna be lock screws. Pressboard covered run of the mill furniture

Nothing special about this thing. Glorified Swedish brand furniture? No tools included. Weird wanna be lock screws. Pressboard covered run of the mill furniture. Excluded the legs so I could put it on top of a piece of furniture. I have to water proof the bottom myself for it to really house anything. This isn't really suitable for too much unless you modify the whole thing. It doesn't lock so reptiles are out. There is no way to attach healthy lighting either. Maybe a hamster or mouse enclosure? You just have to hope it doesn't find a weak edge and chew itself free of it. Probably just good for a potted plant greenhouse.

The listing said it was self heating, it’s not

If you struggle putting things together I wouldn’t order this. It says you need to use a regular screwdriver to put it together, but i had to use a power drill
