Cheap materials
I had gotten a smaller one cat house several years ago & it was much better quality. This one is also difficult to put together.

Difficult to put together
The pre-drilled holes don’t line up. The walls and materials are very flimsy. Once it was finally put together, the door that is supposed swing gets caught on the
The pre-drilled holes don’t line up. The walls and materials are very flimsy. Once it was finally put together, the door that is supposed swing gets caught on the floorboard. The cats I have are small cats, barely a year old. Cats that are any larger would not fit in there. Once it is put together, it is very cute. So far, the cats have only gone in it once or twice.
Poor Worksmanship
Very disappointed and returning because some holes don't align with the parts and some of the dowel holes are too small. Cheap wood and an awful toxic chemical
Very disappointed and returning because some holes don't align with the parts and some of the dowel holes are too small. Cheap wood and an awful toxic chemical smell from glue or paint. Chewy has excellent customer service, which makes returns easy. The package is heavy so Fed-Ex will pick up.
