Don’t bother

I wanted to love this but it has been such a disappointment. I wanted to get a fountain for my cat since he likes to lick water off of other surfaces like the shower

I wanted to love this but it has been such a disappointment. I wanted to get a fountain for my cat since he likes to lick water off of other surfaces like the shower and he always seems interested in flowing water. I had some criteria when looking for a faucet. The majority of materials had to be either ceramic, stainless steel, or glass and the fountain had to be cordless as my cat likes to chew cords. I had a preference for one that was small (1L or less) but after doing a lot of searching I realized I would not be able to find one that was small and decided to settle for just material and cordless. I came across this fountain that claimed to fulfill those requirements, but it was a lot more than what I wanted to spend. I bit the bullet and bought it and I’m disappointed that I did. fountain only works without the plug if you leave it in sensor mode or have it run every 15 minutes for 15 seconds. In the censor mode, the sensor cannot pick up my cat and when it does, it runs for three seconds, which is not enough time for him. In the timer mode the 15 seconds are not enough time and the faucet dies within a day. This means that I’ve had to leave the faucet plugged in all the time so I should’ve just bought a faucet that stays plugged in and spent a third of the price of this one.

I’ve purchased many cat fountains - plastic, one with a little flower spout, then stainless and now this ceramic. This fountain is by far, the very best. Very easy to clean, runs a long time after recharging and you can but replacement filters that include the tiny sponge filter on the pump. I love it. Would definitely recommend over others I’ve had.

I really like this fountain bowl. It was easy to assemble and runs quietly. There are 3 modes to select how frequently the water flows. I have it set on motion sensor. The sensor does well at picking up when the pet is near. My beagle likes to drink flowing water and went immediately to drink from the fountain when I turned it on. The bowl may be a little small for a beagle. He does end up getting water on the floor at times. I have not had to clean the pump yet but it does seem fairly simple to do.

This fountain is so well built and a solid product with one major issue for us. The bowl is too shallow for my dog so when he laps the water it flys over the edge and onto the floor. I filled the bowl to about 1/4 inch below the inside lip that holds the tray for the fountain pump so the water wasn't overflowing. The instructions did not include filling instructions and the bowl did not have a fill marker on the inside. At first I thought that the bowl was cracked and leaking but I put the unit on the counter and ran it overnight with no leaks. My dog was drinking in a way that caused the water to go over the edge and drip down the side onto the floor. I think that this unit would be perfect for tiny dog breeds and cats. My dog weighs 20 pounds. This is a well made fountain for the right pet.

The PawsPik faucet isn’t something I would recommend for a busy dog owner. It requires more maintenance than a regular water dish for your dog. It says you should take it apart and clean it every three days and with a regular water bowl you can just rinse it out and refill it quickly daily. There are several pieces to the ceramic water bowl and takes time to take it apart and clean it. The other issue I have with this dish is my dog is a scared little dog and I had to take him to the dish and when it dispensed the water he jumped and didn’t like it. He hasn’t gotten used to it still and he’s had it for a few weeks now. I think I am going back to his old water dish because of its simplicity. Not to mention he likes it better.

This is a rechargeable battery operated pet fountain. I appreciate that part, I first assembled and plugged it in overnight to charge. It flowed continuously all night, very quiet, no obnoxious motor sounds. The next day I unplugged it and moved it to a different space away from any outlets. It’s been running now for 4 days so far on that initial charge. It will not run continuously though unless it is plugged in. It runs when the sensor indicates motion (your pet walks in front of it). I have not seen our cats drink out of this yet. One of our cats is easily spooked and he was very unsure of the off/on water flow once I had it moved and set up on the sensor activation. I personally like it better as continuous flow, but that limits you to having it plugged in all the time. I think it’s too small of a fountain for big dogs. Not enough water or drinking space. It does look nice and most of the pieces are ceramic. It does have a light that glows all the time, which at night is fairly bright if the house is dark.

I really wanted to love this waterer and thought it would be a nice upgrade for our cats and dogs. Unfortunately it's just fallen short. Some of it is in part that it just doesn't work for the sizes and number of pets we have. But there are enough issues with the design that I have to knock stars off. For starters this is supposed to be geared towards extra small/small dogs and cats. I have two mini dachshund mixes and the bowl is really tall for them and the tray is super shallow. Both of these things make it difficult for them to use. My cats completely refuse to use it which I think may be partly because there's not enough room to drink without their faces being in the faucet. Our big dogs struggle to get enough water in their mouths and they drink as far away from the faucet as possible which gets water all over the floor. It's not easy to get the tray out to fill it. I get water everywhere and I always feel like I'm going to break it. The filter also does not reach the bottom of the bowl. There's a good inch of water that does not get used. It's also extremely difficult to tell when it's empty. And with 4 dogs using it I had to refill it 3 times in one day with refilling being difficult like I mentioned. That's all of the cons that I've come across. Now for the pros. It's nice looking, easy to clean, and easy to set up. I like that it has the three different settings to choose from as far as the sensor, timer, and continuous settings go. The sensor is very sensitive which is great and I like that it has the battery and plug in option. I just wish the height was lower and the tray deeper and that removing the tray was easier. So not a horrible product but it just really missed the mark on too many things for me.

My dog has been drinking a little extra water lately due to the weather, so I decided I’d get her another water bowl to put in a different area of the house. I wasn’t sure how she’d like it, but was surprised when she went straight for it. I love that it’s porcelain (easy to clean) and that it can stay plugged in or be used with just a battery. Super easy setup and due to the bowl depth I’m not needing to refill it nearly as much.

Great battery, quiet, and plenty big resevoir!

Really love it! It's a good size reservoir and hasn't needed to be charged after almost 2 weeks! With multiple cats walking past all the time it STILL keeps going

It's also quiet and we love that it's ceramic, so it won't have issues that we might have with plastic. We have a couple other fountains and this is the best overall.

Well-made and functions well. However, very heavy when full. I like the various setting modes like the sensor and timer. Unfortunately, for my dog the usable "basin" depth was too shallow for him to effectively use the product. The height of the dish was perfect, though.
