Quieter than a church mouse

We have 4 cats and 1 dog. There are 3 "flowing fountains" and 1 "non flowing" in our home. We have 2 PawsPik water fountains now 3. We have replaced the other brands

We have 4 cats and 1 dog. There are 3 "flowing fountains" and 1 "non flowing" in our home. We have 2 PawsPik water fountains now 3. We have replaced the other brands of water fountains with the stainless steel PawsPik. 2 battery operated and this plug in one. This particular one is extremely quiet. You can not hear the motor or water flowing. You have to replace the 5 filter filtration system every 3 months. But there are 2 other sponge filters they recommend you replace once a month. They also recommend you clean the motor and inside every 2 weeks depending on usage. My cats love these fountains so I clean it every 2-3 weeks. When I say I have used all the highly recommended fountains, I truly have. They stop working, leak or get so slimy within a few days. Some start making so much noise I think a water fall is in the house. Lol PawsPik stainless steel water fountains are just far superior than most. I have not had an issue with the two I have and now this one. I received this item when I was pet sitting. I went home to grab it and tested it on my little pet sitting babies! They loved it. And have been using it. I am sure when I leave they will miss it. I think I know what I am getting them for Christmas. :)

Probably great, just not for us

I was pretty excited to try this filtered water drinking fountain/bowl. It was packaged nicely and the instructions are easy to follow. Set up isn’t difficult either,

I was pretty excited to try this filtered water drinking fountain/bowl. It was packaged nicely and the instructions are easy to follow. Set up isn’t difficult either, you just need to have an outlet close by. This proposed a problem with how my house is set up, but improvise and adapt. Well, turns out my dogs are scared of it so there’s not much improvising or adapting needed since they won’t go near it. Lol… who would think such large dogs would be so scared of a water bowl? Even when it’s not on. Also, this particular product is for small dogs and cats so maybe there’s part of the issue? Only rating it two stars because it needs an electrical outlet, my dogs are scared of it, and it’s for smaller animals, so it unfortunately does not work well for us. I do think it would be great for smaller dogs, dogs under 35lbs. Mine are 67lbs and 76lbs for reference.

Convenient

I have five kitties and three water dishes throughout the house. I clean and refill each one every day. When this water fountain arrived, the capacity is so large

I have five kitties and three water dishes throughout the house. I clean and refill each one every day. When this water fountain arrived, the capacity is so large that I don’t have to refill it every day. It lasts for days and would be perfect for people who leave their kitties for a few days at a time. It is equipped with filters so I don’t have to clean either. I don’t hear a thing when it’s running. I thought I would hear like a fountain noise or something, but it’s like it’s not even on. My cats love it. It will definitely save me time and clean up.

Perfect size for multiple cats

I love the size of this fountain. It keeps from having to refill multiple times a day. I also have four cats so this is a perfect size for them. I also like that

I know it will harbor less bacteria. The cats seem to like it as well. The one thing I don’t like is that it already has lots of water spots. I did expect some, but not this soon and this many. This is the reason for the 4 starts otherwise it would have been a 5.

I was hoping that my two chihuahuas would love it as much as I do, but to be honest, they are scared to death of it- neither would go near it while it was running . My thoughts are that a cat would love it - just like drinking from a sink !

A very easy to maintain fountain that my cats love

This fountain is nice and compact, and fits easily into almost any place that I wanted to move it. It took a minute or so to set up, and was very easy to do so

This fountain is nice and compact, and fits easily into almost any place that I wanted to move it. It took a minute or so to set up, and was very easy to do so. The filter simply snaps on/off when needing to be replaced. The fountain itself was also very easy to take apart and clean, taking about 5 minutes to hand wash it. My cats certain enjoyed having a water fountain with a gentle spout. This fountain is also extremely quiet, I couldn’t hear it at all.

Item came packaged well for transport. Everything was wrapped inside the box. The set up was relatively easy/simple. Only a few pieces needed put in place prior to use. I like that the pump/straw reaches the absolute bottom of this water basin. That is to say, when the basin is empty there is no “dead space” of water left behind. I have not heard the pump “dry pump” when low. I used the outside level window to gauge if the water needed refilled. I can get about 2.5 days worth of water out of this before needing refilled. I am using it for a 70# Rottweiler. This water fountain is larger than her previous bowl which needed filled daily and was 1.2L smaller I like that the water level indicator is backlit blue, it makes seeing the level easier. I like that the entire fountain head has a filter inside of it. Replace the head/replace the filter. Less parts is always a good thing. I like that the basin is made of stainless steel. I like that she doesn’t slop water everywhere after drinking. I noticed that upon initial filling of the basin- there was no “max” water line inside. Filling it put together and on the floor was easier to gauge its fullness. That’s my only complaint

This product has an impressive design! It is virtually silent when running, has two filters that are attached to the top so cleaning the high capacity reservoir is very easy. Keep in mind it needs to be plugged in to work, and the filters will need to be changed occasionally. I think it would be best suited for small to medium dogs, and cats.

I really like the concept, but this unit is way too big for my two cats. It does keep the water clean, but you do have to take it off weekly to clean the top from

I really like the concept, but this unit is way too big for my two cats. It does keep the water clean, but you do have to take it off weekly to clean the top from the water stains (I have hard water). I have two older cats and only one has taken to drink from it, the other drinks from the dogs water bowl. I would like to see a much smaller unit, perhaps half this size. I think this would be better for someone who has many, many cats.
