One of my dogs has to take liquid keppra for seizures every 8 hours, and it was getting difficult to find someone to give it to her in the middle of the day if I wasn't here. I decided to look for something like this and got it but was skeptical that we could make it work because she is completely food obsessed and we mix the meds with applesauce. I thought she might hurt herself trying to get into it, so we practiced a few times where I'd leave it on the floor next to me with some treats in it and would discourage her each time she tried to get into it. Eventually she'd forget about it. We worked up to where I'd leave and set up the camera to see what she did. She sat by it for a while each time but ultimately would give up and wait for it to beep and open. It's not something they can easily break into. It's worked really well and I'm very happy with it.

I’m going out of town soon and even though I have someone coming in to take care of my two boys, I ordered this automatic pet feeder. I ordered one to begin with to see how they would react to it. They loved it! Both of them knew right away that there was food in it. They reacted to the beep it made as each section moved! I loved it so much that I ordered a second feeder. It’s also easy to schedule the feeding times. I am so pleased with this purchase!

The timer was confusing at first, but I realized I only needed to set 2 times to feed at the same times each day, not a separate time for each portion. It worked well, and my cat didn’t tear it apart!

I have had an automatic feeder for my cats for years but with three cats and one feeder it can get a little crowded. I added this small feeder alongside the other one and set it to the same time as the other one to allow them some space to eat. Definitely pay attention to the directions if you feed certain foods at different times to make sure it's in the right order. It's easy to set up, only took a few minutes, and worked as expected. My cats were a little hesitant about the change but are using it like normal after a couple days. Because it only has 4 food compartments I would consider this more of a vacation feeder to use if you're gone for a day or two or to add a special food at a specific time.

Definitely recommend this feeder! Super helpful if you're going away for a day but still wanna make sure your babies get their wet food on time! It comes with two ice packs that you can take out and put in the freezer. I wouldn't recommend it for any longer of a trip because you risk the ice packs thawing and the food getting warm, but for an overnight trip or just to use while you're at work all day it's perfect! Easy to set up and use, it's got 4 sections for 4 meal times and the lid locks so your pets can't get into it when they're not supposed to.

If you are really comfortable with programming your phone, etc, you'll find programming this feeder a breeze. I am not much of a techie and I struggled with it, but my son programmed it in seconds without even looking at the instructions, and now I understand it too! It works as advertised, with compartments for four feedings. The openings and dishes are large enough to be comfortable for a small dog and probably a cat, though I didn't test it on a kitty. The ice pack will keep food reasonably cold for 6 hours, and the unit itself is easy to clean. Maybe most useful if you're feeding kibble; I'm not sure about leaving canned food for more than the six hours. If you have a senior pet or one who eats multiple times a day, and not just once or twice, this would be very useful for any kind of food. If I were out for the afternoon and wanted to leave dinner, this is a great option.

We were back from our trip for over a week by the time they came. That was disappointing. Will update after our next trip once we've used them.
