My 14 lb dog wears a step in harness with 2 rings. Is the clasp on the small leash large enough to hook on both rings?

My dog is 14lbs and would be ordering the smaller size 5/8". She dislikes heavy clasps and wondering if the clasp on the small size is actually smaller than the larger size. It seems that a leash can be smaller but a lot of them have large heavy clasps.

The size of the hook are different depending the size of the leash. The X Small/Small has a 5/8 inch clasp, and the Medium/Large has a 1 inch clasp.

Nice color & nice length

Did not hold up well. My Pomeranian chewed it in two in 2 minutes while in back seat of car. Stitched back together on an upholstery sewing machine & he chewed it

The leash was good quality but it wasn't for my chewy Aussie puppy; he chewed through two of these in three days -literally, 15 seconds of grinding this leash between his molars (while I paused at the door before walking, and again to talk to another person while walking) and he was 3/4 of the way through the leash. Those new puppy molars are SHARP!!
