To select the most accurate size collar for your pet, measure the center of their neck with a cloth tape measure, a few inches down from their head. Pull the cloth tape measure snug, but not tight. If you don't have a cloth tape measure, you can use a piece of string and measure it with a rigid ruler afterwards. Make sure there’s enough room for about two fingers between the collar and your pet’s neck for comfort.

Really sturdy

I was looking for a super soft, lightweight collar for my dog who is in end-stage cancer. This would have been the perfect collar for her formerly powerful self... it's the martingale style with a very sturdy snap clasp. I would highly recommend this for an active puller. Unfortunately, for us, it's a little bulkier than will work for her at this point. Chewy told me to donate it to a pet in need... that's why I love Chewy so much.

Easy to slip out

This collar is so easy for your dog to slip out of and run. The design of it is very poor. It kind of overlaps so as soon as they pull, it flips over and there goes your dog! It has happened about 10 different times now. I'll be stopping at the pet store for a new one today.

Love this new reflective collar for our German Shepherd Thor. It has extra cushion and has easy adjustment ability. Our Thor is also visible to drivers in our neighborhood when night walking. Price was much less than box stores and very difficult to even find the padded collars in store

My bad for not reading reviews. I trusted if Chewy said it was a martingdale collar it was. It's not. And not only that, but even if I really wanted just a regular collar, this one is confusing as anything...So, now I guess I am going to a pet store I can physically go to, because I cant trust that the next "martingdale" collar I buy from Chewy really is...what a waste of money. Wonder if I can send it back.

NOT a Martingale. After I tried to figure out all the bells and whistles of this collar - hoops and buckles - I realized it was not working like it should. Luckily your customer service is awesome so that was great. Not really worth any stars - except the collar is nicely padded, well made - but does not do what it is advertised to do! Please do not list this as a Martingale - false marketing!!

Not as described

Though this collar is well made, it is not a Martingale collar. I should have done further research by reading the reviews. I bought this collar to help identify my dog in dark situations, like walking after sunset.

Reflective was only on one side. Looks like they sowed some of backward. We had bought a large one also on another order. It was correct.

I was looking for a martingale collar and this is listed as one but it is not. It’s a nice enough collar but not what we were looking for. So we will probably keep it as a backup and order a true martingale collar.

Collar is not a martingale. The website for the product (Pawtitas) clearly says it is only an adjustable collar. Chewy Customer Service is awesome as always, refunding for the item and asking for me to donate to a shelter. Will do!
