can we engrave on the front and back and how much would that cost

It's a cheap glass vase, certainly not worth paying someone to engrave it. The most practical part to engrave is the lid, which appears to be made of some type of wood. Burning something with a magnify glass or soldering iron, or gluing an engraved piece onto the lid is the best option, but this urn is small and overpriced in my opinion.

The picture shows “forever in our hearts” the description indicates “you left paw prints on our hearts.” Which inscription is actually printed on this item?

The gray option has the phrase “you left pawprints on my heart”, while the gold option has the phrase "forever in our hearts".

Can this urn be engraved with the pet's name and dates?

It looks much nicer in the picture. It's pretty poor quality. You can see imperfections and lumps along the sides because it was formed properly. Definitely looks

Small, cheap, and tipsy

This is a cheaply built glass urn with some kind of wood lid that arrived with small dings in it. Our little 10lb dog was cremated and he came back in a lockable

This is a cheaply built glass urn with some kind of wood lid that arrived with small dings in it. Our little 10lb dog was cremated and he came back in a lockable plastic urn. He won't fit inside this thing unless we transfer the ashes. Since the top does not lock, it's made of breakable glass, and a bit tipsy, it is a no go for us, and I am returning it. Definitely not worth $20.

Disappointed

The jar is beautiful and I would buy it again for a cat or smaller dog but sadly it definitely doesn't fit my 35 pound dog.

Memory jar

The jar is gorgeous, but Unfortunately when i got Angels ashes back, they were already sealed in another container. But if you get your ashes back free
