Pearhead Dog Collar Frame, 3 x 4.5 in

I should have done more research but grief outweighs logic sometimes. I ordered this for my dog's collar and it does not fit in any way. I had to cut up his collar to make it fit because there was not any room in the frame for slack or buckles. The item itself is of nice quality, all the pieces they provide are useful and its constructed well. I think its a shame that this product is listed with the picture and frame size and not the collar size. Its an oversight that could spare a lot of heartache. I was devastated to mangle that collar to make it fit, but I knew that all the other stone memorials were not for me. I'm providing some measurements to hopefully help the next person that finds this listing. The Frame: The frame depth overall is 1.5 inches but only 1 inch of that is usable space as there are quite a few internal pieces. There is a glass panel in the front, a 1/4 inch wooden spacer, a white matte with slits, a brown matte with a rectangle opening, a thinner wooden spacer, and the back panel with mounting hardware. The Main Issue: The white matte has slits that are 4.5 inches apart but the slits themselves are too small to fit buckles as they're only less than a 1/2 inch wide. You can cut the white matte with an exacto knife but that does not fix that if your collar is anything larger than a 9-10 inch neck the slack simply will not fit. My boy's collar was a 16-18 inch neck size, a 1 inch fabric width, with a 1.5 inch buckle. The collar material is thin enough to fit, but the buckles and circumference made this incompatible. Bottom Line: Fits at *most* 1.5 inch wide collar, 9-10 inch neck size, small or flat buckle no more than 1/4 inch deep
