From the moment my dog saw this bag he knew it was for him. I don’t know how he could smell it through all the packaging but he could. He impatiently waited for

From the moment my dog saw this bag he knew it was for him. I don’t know how he could smell it through all the packaging but he could. He impatiently waited for me to open it and upon getting the first treat it immediately vanished. He promptly demanded a second treat. The second treat immediately disappeared. I had to put them on top of the refrigerator where he could not reach them so he would not try to break into my cabinets to get to them. These would make really good training treats too because you can break them into smaller pieces easily as they are softer in texture.

Pedigree Canine Cookouts were a big hit with my black lab! I love that the #1 ingredient is meat and Sky loves the taste. They are a bit large for just a treat, especially for a 80 pound dog on a diet. However, they are solid enough to break apart into smaller chunks easily, but not too dry so they don’t crumble. My package contained 12 treats and I appreciate the resealable bag.

I bring “high value” treats to the dog park because Skye, my younger dog, is…well…she’s a “what do I get out of it?” sort of dog. She’s a golden retriever, but she didn’t get the memo about just wanting to please people. And our dog park is a glorious 100 acres, which means it’s not fully fenced in. Also Skye likes people so much that she often jumps on them. Anyway—these are HIGH high value treats. I use a sharp knife to cut them into smaller pieces for rewarding recall. They definitely motivate my girl, so we will be getting them again.

My dog really liked these. They were a bit hard, but they were chewy enough that he could eat them despite only having a few teeth left because of jaw issues. He

My dog really liked these. They were a bit hard, but they were chewy enough that he could eat them despite only having a few teeth left because of jaw issues. He was very defensive with the cats when he had it as well which he only does if he REALLY likes something so that is a plus. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because they only seem to come in one size. As the owner of a toy breed, it would be best for me to cut them in half or in thirds so that he doesn’t have too much at once. This makes them not ideal for me personally. If you have a larger dog, then these would be great.
