I went to buy a case of canned dog food at the store and was sticker shocked. Looked up the price on Chewy.com and saved ten bucks. AND it was delivered to my house in two days.
I've always loved my things from Chewy, meds, toys, beds and food. But, I ordered 2 cases of Pedigree a couple of months back and about 1/2 of the cans looked like I had dug them out of the ground from a burial of a few years ago. I had emailed along with pictures of the cans, with the dates showing and didn't hear a word back. I'm on case 2 now and so far, they all look good, not rusted or ripped labels.
I have been purchasing this for years for my dog with no problems. However upon research I decided to go with an brand that does not have artificial dyes and flavors or preservatives.
My little guy has been eating Pedigree canned dog food for the past 10 years and he still loves it. I mix 1/2 can with some chicken or beef broth, 1 oz of rice and a small amount of cooked chicken. Little Frank eats this with gusto every day. So glad that this food keeps him happy, healthy and well fed.
Our oldest dog has "Old Dog Syndrome" and his sister is following his lead... When our Vet said to add some wet food I asked what brand , he suggested Pedigree. They both have fabulous appetites now! and their coats are looking wonderful!
Price very good, only problem, some dented cans, nothing near lids, just on bottom parts.......
I have ordered this on multiple occasions and each time I get dented cans. I have called twice to report it and much to my disappointment no resolve. I am disabled and it helps to have it delivered.
My Dog loves this canned food. And trust me he turns his nose up to many foods. You would have thought he was raised as royalty. Not kidding. He won't even eat chips sometimes. I don't just sit around and give him treats all day. He is is just picky. I have to mix kibble in to make sure he eats enough. Plus, he won't eat the same flavor/type twice a day. No joke. I have waited him out, and he wouldn't eat for two days! Gave him a new flavor and boom, he ate. He's a 90 lbs Husky/German Shepard. 9.5 years old. So, this stuff is helping him stay young. And trust me he's active. He walks/runs twice a day. Trains twice a day, and plays in the swimming pool a minimum of once a day. Not to mention he runs stairs, and has no problem. So, this definitely helps him stay strong. But, sometimes cans arrive dented. Otherwise, Yes! I reccomend this product.
My sweet dog can be very finicky when it comes to her food but this food has been a winner for her!!
Miss Picky can be very difficult when it comes to food, so it's a relief that I've found something that meets with her high expectations!
