Does anyone know what the nanometer rating is for this light?

Peedar 2.0 is rated at 380-385 nanometer.
Can you still see the outline of urine stains after the carpet has been cleaned with the black light?

The light illuminates salt deposits in the urine once it dries. On occasion, pet parents have reported the urine can spread during the cleaning process.

Does it detect dust etc. which kind of takes away from detecting urine.?

This product uses UV light to detect urine. It will not detect dust.

poorly constructed and fails immediately

Seems like they're rather cheaply made and are not checked at all for quality control. Mine stopped working after a few clicks on and off. I was able to get it working again by cleaning the threading, but it stopped working again after another click on and off. Sad to see from other similar reviews the amount of electronic waste being produced for no use.

It Works!!

This little light is amazing!! I couldn't understand why I was smelling urine every once in a while as my older terrier is house broken. Well to my surprise, he has been marking spots like on his toy basket & I had no idea until I bought this!! Also, if you think your house is clean, think again. I dare you to buy this & find out.

PEEDAR UV LED FLASHLIGHT URINE DETECTOR

The only urine this detects is when it is on paper towels. I have carpet and knew where urine was but even in a pitch dark room, urine was not revealed at all.

This was a game changer for me

I have an office that is my dog room, where they sleep at night and it has wall to wall tile. I have a male dog that marks and I have moped this room countless times and still couldn't get rid of the urine scent. The reviews weren't that great but I took a chance and boy I'm glad I did. So this flooring has a decorative border made of broken tiles and lots of grout. This flashlight lights up in a bright fluorescent hue and I could finally see why moping alone wasn't get rid of the scent. Urine had migrated from the bottom of one of the dog crates to this border and was absorbed into the grout. Moping it alone wasn't cutting it! Once I knew where to scrub, no more strong scent to endure. HIGHLY recommend for tile and walls.

Peed off at Peedar

Bought this it worked once and now it doesn't work. There are brand new batteries in it. A total piece of junk.

Disappointed

I was excited to buy this because I began to smell urine, but could not figure out where it was coming from. I knew it was somewhere in my living room, i hoped for this light to work. However, it did not. Not worth the money or the shipping fee.

I didn't need to know I lived in a crime scene

Our dog is really good about using our pee pads and letting us know when she has to go out, but my husband wanted to see if she was being good when we left her home alone. Turns out, she's not! Wow, I need to get my carpet deep cleaned by a professional service. This product is most effective at night with all the lights out, and will show you the crime scene your dog has secretly set up in your absence.

Never worked

I was never able to get this to work. I tried the batteries that were included, I tried other batteries, I tried every combination of putting the cartridge in. Nothing worked. Waste of money.

This item does not work

Got this to search for cat pee on my dog's bed, because we know she pees there. This doesn't light it up at all -- we have to detect it just by smell. Will try a different product.
