Pretty, but not very functional

I purchased this collar in two patterns, both of which look lovely in person. The fabric feels sturdy enough, and I haven't had any issues with the plastic buckle

I purchased this collar in two patterns, both of which look lovely in person. The fabric feels sturdy enough, and I haven't had any issues with the plastic buckle. But neither collar will stay at the length I adjust it to. They keep loosening up, as if the fabric is too thin and/or slippery for the plastic hardware that is meant to hold it in place. Well, that's no good if you want the collar to stay on your dog, or your dog to be comfortable in the collar! They are very attractive looking, but I am not inclined to purchase Pendleton equipment again. Now I'm out 50 bucks and shopping for replacements.
