Attractive/Not Durable

This collar is nice looking; it's a Pendleton pattern and it shows. But it is not substantial. The collar is essentially heavy (ish) grosgrain ribbon; the clasp and buckle are plastic. By the second day of wearing the collar my young Golden Retriever -- active, certainly -- had broken the clasp and it was no longer possible to secure the collar at a specific length. It can no longer be used. It was a disappointment. I purchased another Pendleton-branded collar that is much more substantial and has held up very well.
