This perch would be suitable for a cockatiel. It measures 20 inches wide x 11.5 inches deep x 19 inches tall and is designed for medium to large sized birds.

What wood does this use? Is the Wood varnished?

The wood used is species Pinus massoniana Lamb, which is a type of pine. It does not have any varnish, but is torched to give the darker notes in the wood.

What is the dimension of the perch?

This wooden bird perch measures 11.75 inches high, 10.5 inches wide, and 8 7/8 inches deep. The perching branches measure ½ inch to 1 ½ inch in thickness to properly exercise the bird’s feet gripping muscles. Perch is suitable for smaller sized birds.

Will this tree perch easily come apart for easy travel?

There are instructions included with this bird perch. Taking it down for travel is easy. Only 2 pieces of hardware that are not permanently attached.

Trash

I’m glad it came apart while building it instead of when my baby was on it. I bought this before moving and just put it together. I’m out of my return window I think

I’m glad it came apart while building it instead of when my baby was on it. I bought this before moving and just put it together. I’m out of my return window I think. Regardless, it’s trash. It stripped out putting it together and fell over. It’s completely unusable now. I wouldn’t even want a replacement, because I don’t trust it. Avoid and keep your babies safe.

Large parrot perch

took me awhile to assemble because the nut and washer for the bottom kept unlocking and thought it was stripped. fixed that but now my parrot seems afraid of it,

took me awhile to assemble because the nut and washer for the bottom kept unlocking and thought it was stripped. fixed that but now my parrot seems afraid of it, not interested at this point. the wood is smooth and the step ups aren't in the best position for my parrot to climb it. Will keep trying to see if she changes her mind.

My bird loves it

My quaker parrot really enjoys this. I only use one of the dishes at a time to give her more space. It's easy to move from room to room and I just put paper towels

I bought this for my Sulfer Crested cockatoo and found d it to be a great extra stand. I use it for in my bedroom so she can be near me without me always having to hold her. This would work well for other size birds such as tiels as well.
