Is the padded area on top removeable?

The cushion on the top is removeable so the cover can be cleaned. There is Velcro on the cushion and top board to hold the cushion in place that is not removeable.

Great idea, but not very sturdy

This raised platform is a great way to help our pup access the bed and have a little extra space, but its very wobbly and the screws, even tightened all the way, don't seem to be adding enough stability to keep it from wobbling. Our dog is only 40lbs, which is far below the limit...

One of the steps is missing the prefab hole so we can’t secure the peg in that side but it might be okay without it.

My pup is 34 lbs - terrier mix. He’s been using this perch for 2-3 years. It’s perfect size for him and he has no problem going up and down the steps. He can nap comfortably on top, has never jumped or fallen off.

So we got this for our Shihtzu. He has little legs and used to jump onto a crate to get onto our bed. We wanted a step so he no longer jumps on/off the bed. We saw

So we got this for our Shihtzu. He has little legs and used to jump onto a crate to get onto our bed. We wanted a step so he no longer jumps on/off the bed. We saw this and thought, "oh, this is great. It has a step, and bed in one" (He sleeps on our bed or the floor, and his old bed fell apart. He literally jumps on to the first step, and then onto our bed with this. And when he's ready, he'd just jump off the bed. He still sleeps either on our bed with us or on the floor. He does not sleep on the bed that came with this. The mattress on here is hard. He also does not sleep on the bottom. It's just a piece of carpet on both the steps and lower level. He sleeps with us on our memory foam mattress. Two stars for effort.

The is very wobbly and came scuffed. I really regret this purchase as it's absolutely not worth $100 let alone the price of over $200.

The rise of each step is greater than the run. It seems that for pets, especially older ones that need steps, they would need a longer run than rise. Have you done any research into this prior to marketing this product? I can only speak to my experience with my own pets and this design did not work well. It had a low success rate.

Do not recommend, disappointing

The steps are too steep and my little dogs would fall through them if they tried to do the stairs.
