I made a big mistake buying without looking closely at the measurements. I glanced at them and thought it would be ok but this is very wide and short. I assumed it would be the opposite (thin and long) do urself a favor and make sure the measurements are what you want. If it is, I recommend it because its definitely sturdy!
I have a double critter nation for my rats and this was perfect for it! Fit across the whole cage and my boys love to cuddle on it!
I’ve been looking around FOREVER to find a hammock large enough so support our adult iguana. This is perfect, he loves it and seems much more comfortable now. It is a bit large, so make sure you take measurements before deciding on it, but we were able to place it in a spot where he could still get around. We did end up buying different heavy duty suction cups, just because the ones it comes with can’t support iguanas. They seem like they’d work well for smaller lizards though.
Loved by my large Bearded Dragon and fits well in his 120gal! The only negative thing is that I wasn't able to rely on the suction cups provided to support his weight and needed to replace with them with command hooks. Definitely worth it, though, if you need a very large climbing space!
I am so happy I found this, I have gotten others but have had to get 2 to make them work. I have a 4-foot-long iguana and finding something big enough for her to straighten out on has been very hard, now she can so she is happy too
best if your reptile is in a tall & large ferret type cage. it’s too wide for tanks. please read the size before purchase.
I have a smaller size that I bought for my bearded dragon and he loves it. He sleeps on it, basks on it, and lounges on it throughout the day. Since it's so hot in his terrarium, the suction cups dried out after a year or so. So I bought this larger size and tied it up in my rats' cage and just popped the suction cups onto my beardie's hammock. My rats love climbing on this. I thought they'd have it chewed to pieces within the week, but it's been about a month and it's still intact. I've caught them pulling the edges around to cover various parts of their cage, but mostly they just use it for climbing. It also makes a good safety net in case they ever fall off of the higher, trickier climbing spaces.
I didn't pay close enough attention when buying this product but it is large. It crosses the entire tank and adds a second level. This is somewhat cool but blocks some of the light and makes it difficult to feed my beardie. Very hopeful, however, that I will find a creative way to use it.
It's so hard to find things for a beardie that is older than a year (nearly 5 inches across), so I can say I am really delighted that ours finally likes something! The lounger is rather large and we set it up like a ramp (under the light) and folded it under. He climbs up to the light and also naps under, on top of the folded part like a bed. So glad I found this and I hope Chewy gets more supplies for adult reptiles!
Our bearded dragon loves his "bridge." We combined it with the Reptology lounger that has a climbing side that drops down to the floor of his terrarium, and he spends most of his time on one or the other especially when sleeping. We spot clean when necessary (which hasn't been often) and have had no problems with mildew.
