We like this best be cause there is no waste. The area under the feeder stays a lot cleaner, without messy shells or weed growth. It's also getting more calories

They're ok

My birds didn't seem to enjoy this as much as they do whole black sunflower seeds. They ate them, but would start picking out the other stuff and leaving the sunflower

My birds didn't seem to enjoy this as much as they do whole black sunflower seeds. They ate them, but would start picking out the other stuff and leaving the sunflower hearts after a little while. I like that it was easy for my younger birds to eat and a good source of omegas for them.
