Nearly perfect

Overall this feeder is pretty much exactly what I needed. My girl loves to scream at me at 5AM on days when I most certainly don’t need to be and now with this thing

Overall this feeder is pretty much exactly what I needed. My girl loves to scream at me at 5AM on days when I most certainly don’t need to be and now with this thing I can stay in bed. The only drawback I have is that I never found any description of how much one portion is exactly. I could have easily missed it in the manual somewhere but I feel like I read it backwards, forwards, up and down and couldn’t find it. Knowing that information would be great especially for pets who may be on a weight loss/gain journey.

Sadly, I will be returning this. Setting it up was fairly straightforward. Setting the time and the time of feedings was easy. What I could not figure out is how to change those timed feedings without resetting all the settings and starting from scratch. In trying to figure out the best time to set feedings so that I could sleep through the night, I needed to change the times of my cat's feedings, but there was no way to do that. There was nothing in the manual on how to change the times that were already set. So that meant setting it back to factory settings and starting over. Very annoying. The main problem is that with any movement of this unit, food would just fall into the bowl. So you can imagine that once my cat figures this out, it would be a regular occurrence to paw at the unit so food will fall out.
