This is Freya going into the Litter IQ. We have never had any kind of robotic litter device, we were a little skeptical at first. It was very easy to assemble, using small magnets for the attachments. Everything fit together beautifully and there are no plastic tabs to warp or break which is great. it has a phone app with lots and I do mean LOTS of customizations and monitors. It will monitor each cat’s weight…in grams, it takes photos, you can set to manual clean only, scheduled cleans or auto clean. It has sound and you can do videos too. It has an IR sensor, and monitors the time each cat goes in, how long they stay, so much good data kept in a nice simple log. It was ignored for a couple days and then I read the suggestions to put some poop in the thing and sure enough that worked. So far Freya has used it several times and even last night our ancient (22 year old) used it to poop. It has an easy step in threshold, which is good for his arthritis. The included litter mat catches any litter easily but so far it is much cleaner than our regular high litter boxes. The clean function is super quiet, another major plus. We just need to get the other two cats to get with the program! It is a very impressive product!

I honestly don’t know how I lived without this self-cleaning litter box. I was skeptical at first (because, let’s be real—cat gadgets don’t always deliver), but this thing completely exceeded my expectations. It keeps the litter fresh, the smell under control, and I barely ever have to scoop anymore. My cat adjusted to it within a day and now uses it like a pro. The cleaning cycle is quiet, and I love that I can go days without dealing with litter. The waste drawer is super easy to empty, and I don’t feel like I’m constantly buying new litter because it stays cleaner longer. My house smells better, my cat’s happy, and I’m not stuck scooping twice a day. If you’re on the fence, this is so worth it. I had the Penthouse Paws Smart Self-Cleaning Cat litter box for about three weeks. I have multiple cats and only few were daring enough to tried it. I currently have at least one litter box in eight different rooms. Most of my cats are creatures of habit and only use their favorite box in their favorite room. It may be beneficial to own the Litter IQ if you have one or two cats.. I still have to manually clean multiple litter boxes several times a day.

Not for my cats or myself

I have had the Penthouse paws smart litter box for almost a week I find that setting it up to my wifi difficult and took a long time, all of my cats (6) tried jumped

I have had the Penthouse paws smart litter box for almost a week I find that setting it up to my wifi difficult and took a long time, all of my cats (6) tried jumped into it but it's not big enough inside for 3 of my over 12lb cats. It is quite and that is a plus.I had one cat use it once and didn't go again. It's a great idea but as I sad my cat's are anywhere from 8-14 lbs I am leaving it hooked up hopefully my smaller will use. I can't recommend to my friends as it's just not big enough inside. Wd are located in New Hampshire and recommend Chewy.com highly.
