I love the incredibly clear video and photos. The option to add a SD card is so much better versus an additional paid subscription to save images. Also, the feeding mechanism is pretty quiet and doesn’t scare my kittens. They got used to the sound of the feeder fast and came running for a feeding. I didn’t use a specific recorded sound so just the sound of the feeder rotating was enough to alert them. The App and WiFi setup were fairly easy, but the app is a little cheap and lackluster. I did like that it gives clear feedback when food is dispensed. A few downsides for me, especially at this price point. The kibble sometimes gets stuck in the dispenser so a full meal isn’t dispensed. Also the camera doesn’t pan. The kibble holder on top doesn’t seem to detach, which makes it harder to clean out old food. This is kind of concerning since grease from kibble can build up over time and get gross. There’s also no airtight seal, so food can get a bit stale if it sits too long. It does hold a good amount of food though, and overall it works well once it’s going. The images are very clear. For the price, I just wish it had a few more thoughtful design details.

This Penthouse Paws automatic feeder is wonderful. It came well packaged and was super easy to get set up. The app is easy to function and had clear simple functions for all the things id need and want. Camera shows good quality and voice comes through clearly! Will say i had to select 5-6 for feeding size for my kitty to fill into the bowl however also super simple to adjust!
