Is this actually red glass or red covered glass that can peel off?

This features red glass, not glass that is coated or painted. The color is part of the glass itself, so it will not peel, fade, or flake off over time.

Do the bases of these separate for thorough cleaning?

Smaller than I realized

Ive had several, so didn't notice or check. Also square, which it said, but it didn't register. I don't fill them all the way, so that's fine, but two other things

Ive had several, so didn't notice or check. Also square, which it said, but it didn't register. I don't fill them all the way, so that's fine, but two other things. The wire it hangs on is very short, doesn't move out of the way so the glass can sit flat to be filled. Huh? It's also invisible if hung over your head, so that's tricky. Last, the threaded opening if much smaller than the others. Takes a small funnel or spout. Same quality as the bigger ones. Looks great. Nothing is interchangeable.
