How do you open it?

How easy is this to clean? Does it come apart?

To clean feeder, especially with birdseed stuck between the tube and the base, disassemble the feeder. Fill a bucket or sink with warm water and add a mild dish soap. Soak both the tube and base in the soapy water for about 15-20 minutes to loosen up any stuck seed or debris. Let the parts air dry completely before reassembling. This will help prevent mold and bacteria from growing inside the feeder. Once everything is dry, carefully reassemble the parts and refill with fresh birdseed.

Seems to be a well made feeder that will hopefully keep the squirrels from eating all day and save me bird food. BUT when I went to put food in it for the first time...one of the flexports is missing on the bottom row. Food went out as fast as I poured it in. I removed a flexport from the top row to put on the bottom and broke off a clip on the back of the flexport. So now I have 4 fixed flexports on the bottom and only 2 of 4 on the top. I can add maybe a little over a cup of food to the feeder. I'm hoping there are replacement flex ports. But if not I guess I can tape the 2 missing flexport holes. Other than that...seems to be a sturdy feeder. Fingers crossed it keeps the 5 pound "tree kitties" out of it.

I thought I’d give this a try for its claim on being squirrel proof, but not only did the squirrels figure out a way to boss around all their their creatures, they also broke by chewing through the feeding ports. Now all ports are virtually a hole and I can’t seem to find replacement parts anywhere.

Don't bother with this feeder

The feeder is really flimsy and when a squirrel jumped onto my feeder, about 3/4 of the seeds just came flying out of the feeder. So much money just on the ground

Just ok

Squirrels chew the ports and seed falls out. Seed sits below the bottom most port so it’s a waste and has to be dumped out before refilling

I don't think any feeder is truly "squirrel-proof"

Within two days of putting up the feeder, the squirrels had popped out the plastic pieces that hold the bird seed in. I popped them back in and tried to keep up

Within two days of putting up the feeder, the squirrels had popped out the plastic pieces that hold the bird seed in. I popped them back in and tried to keep up the good fight, but they upped their game and HID the plastic pieces after that. No hate to the manufacturer. The idea was solid. But if anyone ever DOES invent a truly squirrel-proof bird feeder, they will make millions. At this point, I've just resigned myself to the fact that I'm feeding the birds AND the squirrels!

The squirrels got into this feeder after about a week. They pulled out the flexible plastic flexport and the birdseed poured out. I put the plastic part back in
