Unsafe construction, handle broke

Great for small cats
My cat did really well in it. I think it gets a little stuffy if it’s warm out, but when we would get places to sitdown, it was great being able to open up the back

I think it gets a little stuffy if it’s warm out, but when we would get places to sitdown, it was great being able to open up the back and have a little bit more walking room for my cat my cat is a small Domestic short hair about 9 1/2 pounds and when it’s closed, it was fine but my other cat, who was a smaller Maine coon about18 pounds I don’t think it would’ve been OK for that Kat the only thing I would suggest for the manufacturer would be more air holes. But my cat did very well. We went on a road trip and everywhere we stopped. We would put her in the backpack and do little hikes. Short little trip site going out to a lighthouse and walking around and then we could stop and just have some water and stuff we could open upthe part where she could sit in the net area and that was great. You just have to get used to them a little bit ahead of time. My Kat is very easy-going but if yours isn’t, you might have trouble.

I really wanted to like this backpack. It's lightweight, I like that the back panel unzips to give more room for your pet to relax when you're not wearing it, and
I really wanted to like this backpack. It's lightweight, I like that the back panel unzips to give more room for your pet to relax when you're not wearing it, and it felt sturdy enough for use with a 7 lb cat. However, the first time I took my cat out in this on a cool (60F) but sunny day, I'm pretty sure I almost cooked her to death in it. It seemed like it has plenty of ventilation holes, but I think the curved plastic acts like some kind of science experiment you would do in middle school and it was hotter than heck in that backpack when I stopped to take her out after she vomited all over the inside. I ended up having to carry a terrified, sweaty, and barf-covered cat home in my arms and the backpack went straight into the trash. Save your money and invest in something else.

Cheap zippers, broke after one use
Really wish I would’ve read the reviews. My cat is pretty small, he still isn’t fully grown and one of the zippers busted after the first use. DON’T BUY IT!!!! So
