This leash is designed for use with dogs weighing up to 40 pounds. For larger pets, we also carry the "Pet Fit For Life Dual Dog Leash with Bowl, Large" which is designed for use with dogs weighing up to 100 pounds.

Can this be taken apart for individual use?

The leashes can not be taken apart. The only part that can be removed is the detachable soft foam handle. Please see the image for reference.

This is our second one!

This made walking our two little dogs so much easier than separate leashes that kept getting tangled. It's works perfect for us, and I would highly recommend it

Love it!

This is just what I was looking for! Using the dual Leash is so much easier than 2 individual leashes. The dual leashes do not get tangled due to the swivel joint

This is just what I was looking for! Using the dual Leash is so much easier than 2 individual leashes. The dual leashes do not get tangled due to the swivel joint as the dogs switch sides and neither is in the lead so less pulling. I like the fact that I can let the dogs be on a longer leash out for long walks at the trails but can shorten them to a short leash while on sidewalks. The water bowl was a nice perk because I was looking to buy one. Overall, I love it and would recommend to others!

I'm sure it will work better with two dogs the same size, however I'm using it with a small dog and a part shepherd who of course walks ahead but in time I hope

Great product for larger dogs

This is a good quality lead. It’s a little heavy for our puppy, but works great for our corgi. This Lead would work better if we had 2 similar sized dogs.

Game Changer

We just adopted a 3 month old terrier/lab mix and after the first couple of walks with her and our 3-year old, willful mini Schnauzer I knew I needed something to keep me sane. Untangling leashes while holding poop bags and trying to keep the dogs from getting in other people's way gets old fast. This leash has been great for letting them do their own thing but keeping boundaries and now they pull each other instead of both of them pulling me so it's forcing them to work together on walks. I also enjoy the handles midway down the leash because our Schnauzer has taken it upon himself to defend us on walks and doesn't usually react favorably towards other dogs. Now I can reign him in while his sister sweetly greets new people. Between the two of them I have just under 40 pounds of dog to control and so far the leash is holding up well.
