To clean carpet, remove and machine wash.
You will be assembling 2 separate sets of stairs for our Easy Step Bed Stairs. The 2-step and the 3-step.
2-step:
- Place right panel part (B) on floor with PET GEAR Logo facing the floor and insert top stair part (E). Keep the STRAIGHT EDGE toward the back and rug facing the top. Make sure there are no gaps between parts after inserting. (If inserting part is difficult put a little dish soap on doweled end before inserting.)
- Insert riser part (C). Make sure there are no gaps between parts after inserting.
- Insert bottom stair part (F). Note the CURVED SIDE direction. Make sure there are no gaps between parts after inserting.
- Insert riser part (C). Make sure there are no gaps between parts after inserting.
- Insert dowel part (D). Make sure there are no gaps between parts after inserting.
- Attach left panel part (A). Align all holes before pushing panel down. Make sure there are no gaps between parts after inserting.
3-step:
- Place left panel on floor with PET GEAR Logo facing the floor and insert top stair part (G/H). Keep the STRAIGHT EDGE toward the back and rug facing the top. - Insert front flat panel part (K/L).Make sure there are no gaps between parts after inserting.
- Insert back support bar part (O). Make sure there are no gaps between parts after inserting. Insert 2 dowels part (Q). (If inserting part is difficult put a little dish soap on doweled end before inserting.)
- Insert hidden storage panel part (N/M). Make sure there are no gaps between parts after inserting.
- Attach right panel. Align all holes before pushing panel down. Make sure there are no gaps between parts after inserting.
- Place the carpet part (R) on the fuzzy fasteners on the bottom step.
- Attach the carpet part (R) on the fuzzy fasteners to the 2-step.

Perfect for my older girl

My miniature poodle mix is 13 and I noticed she was struggling with steeper stairs. She's short and long and needed a little break to rest going up and down. She loves her new stairs and I can tell they are so much easier for her to use. We leave ours in the long version, right beside the bed, and they are perfect. Our other girl loves and uses them as well. Worth every penny.

AMAZING STAIRS

I am completely amazed at these stairs. I have purchased 2 other stairs and they didn't work. I have a VERY small puppy, she is less than 3 lbs. and tiny little legs and a very high bed. I wasn't sure what would work for her. She is 2 1/2 mos. This is the 3rd set of steps I've purchased. Not only did they fit for my high bed, but Gracie "got" it the 3rd time I showed her how to use them. She thinks she is so smart going up and down by herself. I love them!. Thank you Chewy.

Less than thrilled

These are really noisy when you are trying to teach your pet to use them and he is only 19 lbs. He definitely cannot come up and down quietly while you are sleeping. Since it is noisy it is not for timid dogs either- training him to come up and down has not been easy. I am thinking on spending more money and trying to cushion these further for noise reduction

Take the stairs!

We have two small dogs who want to get on the bed but can't do it without assistance. These stairs are easy to put together (just take a breath and read slowly...they do make sense if you don't rush it) and are pretty sturdy. My dogs were quick to learn how to use the stairs but in all honesty, you don't need the "L" shaped stairs. My dogs skip the "L" step and jump on/off the bottom stair. In hindsight, I should have purchased a set that goes straight up/down. The stairs take a up a lot of space and making the bed is much harder with the stairs attached. But, it's what we do for the ones we love, right?

These are the perfect stairs for beside the bed. They are deep enough for my baby to easily use. I love that there is storage, and that the bottom two stairs can turn or be straight. I am actually ordering the smaller stairs for beside the sofa.

I wish I had bought this years ago. My older small dogs love to run up and down them, and I don't have to worry about them getting hurt by jumping from the tall bed.

My son and daughter in law's poodle loves these! They put them by their bed and she is so happy to be able to get in and out of bed without jumping and hurting herself or having to bark to get up. She loves the "landing" for a safe napping place.

The directions are not very clear, but it's easy enough to assemble. It seems pretty sturdy. I use for two dogs, 18 lb and 16 lb; no issues with stability so far. They haven't really warmed up to it yet, but it takes training. Four stars for the price
