I measured the size you gave. If the depth, front to back, of the bottom step is 11.5" and the top stair depth is 12.5", how can the overall depth measurement be 17"? That doesn't add up. If you go up 6", in 11.5, up 6" and in 12.5, the overall depth would need to be 24". Please clarify.

These stairs measure 13 inches in height. The stairs are plastic and carpet tread removes easily and is machine washable. The rubber grippers on bottom keep step secure and in place making the suitable to be use outdoors.

will these steps slide if used on the tile floor? I need stairs that will not move at all when my dog jumps

Makes it so much easier for my elder cat to climb on the bed

My cat is growing old and has a tough time walking and climb. She can no longer use her cat tree and jumping up on the bed wasn't an option until I got these stairs

Product seems fine. My dogs won't use it though. I purchased mostly for my shorter stockier elderly pit who is having great difficulty getting off the couch but was hopeful my other elderly taller one might take interest too. However, they just jump over it and it's a bigger disaster. I think in my instance I should have considered more of a ramp style but the product itself is fine.

Easy to put together, not flimsy

My Abby is getting older, and her "springs" aren't what they were, so jumping into "her" chair isn't possible anymore. I noticed she was opting to lay on the floor,

Easy to climb to the couch or the bed

The steps are wonderful sturdy they will put together easy but my dog would not use them so the generous people at chewy gave me credit and told me to donate them

This item was made just right for our smaller dogs.

It does not stay together and falls apart. Our dogs wont use it now. I have used super glue and it seems to be holding. Hopefully, they will forget when it didnt

Stays put and the steps aren’t slick

I replaced a plastic, cloth covered set of steps for my little dog with this. The plastic steps kept sliding around on my hardwood floors. This set has rubber grips

I replaced a plastic, cloth covered set of steps for my little dog with this. The plastic steps kept sliding around on my hardwood floors. This set has rubber grips on the bottom and hasn’t budged. I really like the carpet pieces on the steps, too. It is the perfect height to keep in front of the couch for my little dog. I had difficulty with the assembly but I am a senior citizen so I chalked it up to age because my son had them assembled in no time at all for me.

My 18-year old cat learned to use the stairs in 2 trials. The product is well made & non-slip. She actually will run up & down the stairs. She’s also walking better
