Helped Cancer Kitty Get Into Her Favorite Chair
Our 10yr old cat got diagnosed with cancer and started having trouble jumping and moving around. She was a little cat, but got this for her because it was wide and stable so she felt secure walking up it. Narrower steps made her nervous and she wouldn't use them. She used these to get into her favorite chair so she could hang out with us while we worked from home. The steps were easy to snap together and the carpet pads offer good traction. And the other cat likes hiding in the space beneath the stairs!
I am over the moon about this product. I have an Old English Sheepdog, and she started to have trouble getting into bed. I am about the size of my dog, so it was killing my back to lift her over and over. It was also destroying my sleep. Snowbelle starting using this right away! I was skeptical, because I had purchased an expensive ramp that she will not use. This was great for a bigger dog, and I love that the steps slope a little bit. It also looks nicer than the ramp. It does not take up a lot of room. Thank you Chewy! It took only minutes to set up?
Solved cat issue
My cat Zoe is almost 17 years old. She recently has had hip problems and unable to get on her favorite couch. I ordered the Pet Gear Easy Step II Dog & Cat Stairs and now Zoe can get up and down easily. It’s light weight and can easily be moved. Great to keep our pets happy as they age.
Great for older pets
This was my second set of these steps for an older cat who thinks she's a lot younger than she is and insists on climbing and jumping! Fortunately, she does use them. Study and easy assemble and care. Also, very happy to get them so quickly and at a decent price from Chewy.
Perfect Solution for a larger dog with arthritis!
We've tried several different ramp options, but this set of stairs is a perfect solution to help our 12-yo dog! He loves car rides, but isn't able to jump in anymore, and this set of stairs works at both the front and backseat doors. It's a little clunky to store, but I'll give up compact structure for utility. The dog is willing to use it, so that's a good thing!
Great for wobbly senior
My 15 year old kitty has a wobbly walk and wobbly, uncertain jumps to a stroke a year ago. These steps are great! Much better than stairs with more, steeper, shallow steps. The nice wide, deep step area allows him a place sit and rest or rearrange as needed.
Work great for the couch
We needed something for our short legged (but stocky at 40 lbs) dog to get up and down from the couch. This was quick to put together and our dog readily used it. Nice wide and gradual steps, mean it is stable and not 'scary for her to use.
I have had these steps for about 3 years after my 70 pound lab needed knee surgery. She uses it often and it easily withstands her weight. It is easy to assemble, needs no tools. It is lightweight. I will often take it in the car so my dog can get into and out of it more easily, though it does take up some space. Another nice feature is that the stair treads are carpeted and easily removed to put in the washing machine when they get dirty. Overall, I recommended this product
Not bad, but dog wouldn't use
A fine size for a medium, 45lb Australian shepherd but he resoundly wouldn't use. So I'll likely be returning them Only took a star because I had some trouble assembling! You need some elbow grease
I now have two of these steps for my Cocker Spaniel, Sammi. They are perfect for her to get up on the bed and on the living room hassock. I will admit that I'm a klutz with putting things together so a friend put the steps together. They are very sturdy.
