I purchased this for a 40 pd beagle that I adopted that is extremely overweight but wants to be on the bed. She can easily navigate it in either direction. The depth of the two steps is very good which is the problem with most of these steps. Since she's heavy when she goes down it, I needed something that would be sturdy. It is very sturdy and I do have it on a rug. It doesn't move at all. I don't know about a floor but I would be quite surprised if it was not equally as sturdy as it is built well, is wide and the plastic is very thick. I also wanted the little rug pieces on it because with it being plastic I didn't want any slippage especially on the way down for her. It's exactly what I wanted and I definitely would recommend it.
This was exactly what I needed for my geriatric cats to get up on the couch. It was easy to assemble, and the cats used it right away without any prompting from me. I'm ordering another one now for the bedroom.
My EB is getting up there in years and got this to make getting up and down furniture easier for her. This step did not disappoint! I purchased a second one for the bed. The steps are wide and are at an angle for her, which makes getting up and down a breeze. Purchase with confidence!
Perfect fit for my couches. Dogs are grateful for a way to get on the couch. 4 stars only because I wish it had a better anti-slip on the bottom, but might just be due to tile floors.
These are the third steps I have purchased and the first ones my dog will use. The steps are wider and deeper than most which makes all the difference.
Dog was leary at first. After a few days of using treats on each step and the sofa, he was comfortable using this. It is easy to assemble and is very sturdy.
Great steps with comfortable spacing for my dogs, they love it, as do my grandchildren!
My new pup is very smart! He figured the step out by himself. I am very pleased.
Our dogs love these steps. Easy to put together and Gus and Luna went up them to their favorite spot.
The product arrived quickly and was easy to put together. My dogs are in the larger side and were not fond of using it in place of the previous step they had; which was an old ottoman.
