Why are the steps at an incline?

The wide, deeps steps with a slight incline allow pets to get their whole body on each landing while rubber grips on the bottom keep the stairs securely in place.

I think it is great they have washable carpet treads but do they sell replacement carpet treads if you need them? I have chewers.

Made for small dogs or cates

I bought this easy step product for my Australian Shepherd and it was a no go. Too high and steps are too narrow. My baby doggo is 11 years old and you can see that

I bought this easy step product for my Australian Shepherd and it was a no go. Too high and steps are too narrow. My baby doggo is 11 years old and you can see that the steps scare her. Great for small pets for sure and definitely sturdy. Be mindful when purchasing this product. I have to store it for now.

I liked its compactness. I don't want to trip on it if I get up at njght. Liesel is still getting used to it as it's quite different than longer ramp she uses to get into truck. Lots if training & praising. Keep alert for sounds your pet may want to use stairs vs I you can keep your hand on it & direct them from the bottom; don't let them jump on half way up or they can fall off. Very well made .

I was worried about the steps when I opened the box and saw the pieces. I thought this was going to be so flimsy that I wouldn't let our 7 lb kitty use them. I'm

I was worried about the steps when I opened the box and saw the pieces. I thought this was going to be so flimsy that I wouldn't let our 7 lb kitty use them. I'm glad I was wrong! The steps became more sturdy the more I put the pieces together. Our 18+ year old calico uses them multiple times a day and has no issues with them. They are high enough for her to get up to my desk where she has water and a heated box she snuggles in. I will highly recommend these steps for any pet that needs a boost up.

Slightly wobbly for a 9 year old 105# American Mastiff. She is learning to take her time. Bed was too high for the two step model. Also ok with my 70# dog.

Too tall for my dogs

I thought that this would work for my dogs and give them an extra step to jump up on the bed but it's a little too tall for 2 dachshunds. I'll need to return it

I thought that this would work for my dogs and give them an extra step to jump up on the bed but it's a little too tall for 2 dachshunds. I'll need to return it unfortunately. The 2 step stairs work for them, just a little short. My cocker spaniel has been able to use the Easy Step III just fine.

This is the second set of steps I have purchased from this manufacturer. Steps are wide, carpeted tops for no slipping. The height between steps is not as severe

This is the second set of steps I have purchased from this manufacturer. Steps are wide, carpeted tops for no slipping. The height between steps is not as severe as other stair sets so my 15lb older terrier can scale it easily. Sturdy and won't wobble around when using.
