what are the dimesions of the landing on the top?

This product is made of solid, compressible plastic. A rubber grip is added to the bottom of each leg to prevent the ramp from slipping and sliding.

The name of this ramp has the word "carpet" in it - but several reviews call out that it is NOT topped with carpet. Is it skid-proof looped carpet? I have a 50+lb dog that is 16yrs old and has weak rear legs. Want to make sure my dog will have traction she needs on the incline.

This ramp does feature carpeting for a slip-resistant surface to provide sure footing. It is not thick carpeting, it is short to prevent a pets nails from possibly getting caught.

will this come to the top of my bed, it is 30" high

It may be possible for a pet to use the ramp to reach a height of 30 inches. The ramp measures 23 inches tall so the pet could step from the top, onto the bed.

Caveat Emptor!

This is actually the second ramp like this I have bought from Pet Gear (have other types). Why did I have to buy a second ramp, you ask? Well, even though they claim

This is actually the second ramp like this I have bought from Pet Gear (have other types). Why did I have to buy a second ramp, you ask? Well, even though they claim to have a 300 pound weight limit, my 80 pound dog had killed TWO of these ramps now. See, the ramp STRUCTURE is fairly sturdy, and has no problem with my dog's size. However, the material they use for traction is too weak to handle it. The ramp could be strong enough to hold a tank, but if the "SuperTrax" can't handle it, their 300lb claim is a LIE. To make matters worse, I have tried virtually every possible contact method to see how I can BUY new traction material, but they can't seem to be bothered. They aren't even interested in an after market SALE to make their product viable again. This is an example of the weakest point making the entire product USELESS.

Great Way to Take Your Dogs Along For Rides.

Light weight but still strong. Sturdy enough for my large breed dogs to gain access to my suv. Carpeted surface insures slip free footing.

Pet Gear Ramp

I bought one of this exact same ramp about 5 years ago. It works great and my dog used it several times a day. The "carpet" pads wore out and I received no answer

I bought one of this exact same ramp about 5 years ago. It works great and my dog used it several times a day. The "carpet" pads wore out and I received no answer from Pet Gear about replacements. I tried several times, by phone, email, their website....no response, I wound up having to buy another whole ramp just for the pads. Ramp is great, the replacement pads are impossible to get and wear out too easily.

This ramp is as described

It's strong, sturdy and easy to set up. It has taken using it a few times but the dogs seem to be getting the hang it. I use it to help my dogs get into the backseat
