what long and wide is each step?

The overall dimensions of the Pet Step III are 18 inches long by 14 inches wide by 15 inches tall. The top step depth is 6 inches, the 2nd step depth is 5.75 inches, the 3rd step depth is 5.75 inches and each step is 5 inches tall. The overall dimensions of the Pet Step IV are 26 inches long by 14 inches wide by 19.84 inches tall. The top step depth is 6 inches, the 2nd step depth is 5.75 inches, the 3rd step depth is 5.75 inches, the 4th step depth is 5.75 inches and each step is 5 inches tall.
i have a high bed, id like to know the ANGLE measurement to see if it will lead up to the bed ? thanks

Pet Step III is approximately a 40 degree angle. Pet Step IV is approximately a 38 degree angle.
Are there pads/carpet on the steps? If so are they removable for cleaning or washing?

The pads on the steps are not removable.

Sturdy but too narrow

Although these steps are sturdy, they are so narrow that even my smallest dog (10 lbs) refuses to use them as he cannot navigate them with certainty. Perhaps much more suited for cats.

Good steps

I bought for my old cat who’s 15/12 she doesn’t jump anymore but this lets her get to table she used to love to sit on, happy she actually using them and she’s happy being able to get to one of her favorite spots safely.

Amazing stairs

These stairs really helped my dog with ability to get on the bed. It took me showing him how to use them, but he is a pro now. They are very sturdy also.
