Pet strollers are used for a variety of reasons. They help avoid stress on your pet's body if they are having trouble walking due to joint pain, arthritis, or recent surgery. Strollers also function as a crate on wheels. Wherever you go, your pet, whether it be a dog, cat, furry (or not so furry) friend, will be able to keep you company while remaining safely contained inside the stroller.
No-Zip is one of the most innovative features in pet strollers today. All strollers with the No-Zip feature have an easy-locking latch instead of a zippered closure. No zippers means no hassle, when trying to open and close the stroller. No-Zip technology allows you to easily gain access to your pet without fumbling with zippers.
My 18 pound, 5 month old French Bulldog broke his tibia in 2 places in his rear right leg due to this stroller design! He jumped out of it WITH the safety strap attached to him and hit the ground. The strap should stop them from this. The inside of the stroller pulls up and renders the safety strap too long, therefore allowing your pet to hit the ground. My puppy is also well under the weight limit for this stroller. My puppy has had one surgery to fix his leg and will need a second one in 4 weeks. The vet bills have already been $7000 and another $3000 is expected, for a total of $10,000 in vet bills due to this stroller. My puppy has to be kept sedated and contained for 6 weeks. Chewy should NOT be selling this stroller! This stroller is not safe, as shown by my personal experience. I thought my puppy was safe in a stroller sold by Chewy (a pet supplies company)…NOT the case! Do NOT buy this!
This stroller is not good for many reasons. Collapsing it takes 2 people & some very intricate maneuvers—not ideal 4 city dwellers trying 2 hop a cab. Also, & this is my oversight, but, since this is my 3rd pet gear, a supposed upgrade, I didn’t check—the canopy has a big middle section that is all mesh. Not ideal for when it’s raining. The 3 wheel design should have made pushing & cutting turns easier. Wrong. It’s more difficult &, if I don’t put the brake on 4 a quick pee-pee double-park, the stroller rolls in a sharp angle (has fallen). My dog has a joint disease—this is supposed 2 make it easier, not harder for both of us! Do not recommend. Cheaper pet gears better. This upgrade was not cheap.
Our kitty has a fear of carriers and a friend suggested that I might try getting a stroller. Our nephew set it up in very little time and it's adorable! I'm very glad I got it. Maybe I'll put our kitty into it for her next vet visit (and save some $$s on cab fare!) (Though our kitty is extremely challenging due to some trauma she suffered in the past, so she doesn't like to be confined in any small space.) Still it's a nice thought for getting kitty out on a warm Spring day so she can get a better view of birds, etc.
I want to preface this review by saying I hate putting things together. I dread it. But boy! This stroller was a breeze. It was literally just snap two pieces on and go. I love that! It rolls very easily and looks nice. It's probably slightly smaller than I expected, but not to the degree that it affects my opinion negatively. I bought this because my puppy has about three more months before he'll be fully vaccinated, and I want to be able to walk with him without worrying about him getting sick from the ground. I think it's going to serve that purpose very well.
My little senior Shi-tzu loves his new buggy. We can get to the park quickly and have fun sniffing all the great smells. Great for both of us while still allowing him the joy of a walk and me my steps. Thanks Chewy!
Because Chewy keep a recorded history on your orders, it makes it very easy when it comes to re-orders. Kind of like, "You only have to think about it"! Fair pricing is a plus, along with availability.
This has been the best Item I have bought for my cats.Initially bought for my indoor Maine coon, but my indoor/outdoor British short-haired loves to sleep in it,infant they take it in turns to sleep in it,and it's actually not been folded down since it arrived! It is easy to put together. It is very smooth to push and sturdy. My maine coon wears his harness, which is then hooked to the safety strap attached to the inside. It is very safe and secure for him.
We have a 14 year old dachshund and she needs to walk but she gets tired out so we just pop her in the stroller and keep on walking. It has worked out really well. Very sturdy and she is getting used to it.
So happy I got this and didn't go with the negative reviews. This was great to put my two poochies in there a go anywhere. They loved it and with the cold days, they were warm with their pet throw. I wouldn't dream of traveling without this. It makes it easy to go inside a store without hearing them yap, sniff & do their business.
I have purchased this exact stroller twice, both times the lining ripped within months. If not for the cheap flimsy lining it would be the ideal stroller.
