I was really excited about this product. My dogs would scratch me and their pads were so rough until I found Pet Head Oatmeal Dog Paw Cream. Application was easy, my dogs really love the foot massages. It is non greasy, so they had no problems walking after application. I used this product for over two weeks and there pads have been totally transformed. They are really soft to the touch, not scratchy. An absolute unintended bonus, this cream has also transformed my fingers and cuticles!! The only downside I could see was that I had to watch the dogs very carefully after each application as they always tried to lick it all off for several minutes after application.

When I received this I wasn’t really clear what I was or was not supposed to use it on. Nowhere on the container does it even say the word “dog” or specify any other animal. Even more confusing - it proudly states that it is “never tested on animals”! I don’t want any harsh animal testing, but I would like it if my pet products have been used on actual animals before I start trying it on them! Funny. So, after being befuddled, I looked up the product online to confirm usage and have since used it on a recovering hot spot on my dog’s paw area, plus on his paw pads after some hot days on pavement. It has a nice light and smooth texture that absorbs easily. It seemed to help as a light moisturizer. My dog didn’t become obsessed with trying to lick it, as he often does with anything topical, so that is a big selling point. It seems like a good product if you want something light, gentle, and soothing.

I received this incredible cream. I live in the high desert where there is virtually NO humidity. My little's paws get so cracked and rough. As soon as I received this I tried it out on all three of my pooches. Within hours the cracks had started healing and their little paws were so much softer and the skin looked so much healthier. Now every night they came and sit on my lap and hand me their paw so I can rub in the cream. If you have not tried this product I highly recommend it. Especially now when they walk on hot surfaces and their little paws get so dried out. I am also looking forward to using this during the winter when it is snowy cold and dry. It has a soft pleasant smell and not medicinal at all. To be honest with you........even MY hands look better. This is a MUST have for camping, walks and in the pooches go bags......LOVE THIS!

At first the boxer was not happy but in a short time she gave in a relaxed. Since then we spend time before bed massaging big and little feet. The cream has a nice mild scent. After a few days I could feel a difference in their pads. They are not as rough as before. I would certainly recommend this cream to anyone wanting to improve their fur baby’s feet. It’s also a great bonding experience. Enjoy!

Works, but bottle is confusing
So happy to have a dog friendly lotion. My dog has had such dry skin this summer no matter what I do and I must say this paw lotion helped. I was a little confused

It has a very very subtle scent of oatmeal, not greasy, oily or sticky at all! Definitely a new item for every few days between baths too!

The lotion is a good texture- not too thick so it’s hard to rub in and not too runny so it spills out of the tube. My only dislike is that I prefer more natural ingredients.
