Pet Healthy Brands takes litter to the next level with their Perfect Cat Unscented Clumping Clay Cat Litter! This all-natural litter is approximately 70% lighter and four times more absorbent than some clay litters and is 100% free from artificial chemicals. Even though it’s lightweight, it still offers plenty of clumping ability and minimal dust and tracking for easy breathing and an easy cleanup. But what really makes this litter stand out from the rest is the Wellness Indicator which changes the color of the litter when your kitty’s pH balance is off. This can help you detect feline lower urinary tract disorder (FLUTD) early on, so she can get the treatment she needs!

Always wash your hands thoroughly after handling used cat litter, as cat feces may contain Toxoplasma gondii—a parasite that can cause toxoplasmosis. Pregnant or nursing women, as well as children and anyone with a weakened immune system, should avoid handling used cat litter. Always handle litter in a ventilated area to avoid inhalation. Keep contents and packaging out of reach of children and pets. Seek medical help in case of accidental ingestion.

The litter box should be placed in an area of the home away from hardwood floors and major family living spaces (bathroom, laundry, basement or enclosed porch). All cat litters track, as does Perfect Litter. However, because of its light weight, your cat will typically track it only in the direct vicinity of the litter box; allowing easy clean up. Cats dont like change in their environment. Some cats will take to a new litter immediately; others not so fast. Remove clumps and all feces daily and examine clumps for any color indication. Add more Perfect Litter as needed to maintain an adequate depth in the litter box. Stir in fresh litter to maintain freshness REMINDER: Color changes during litter transition should be ignored. Perfect Litter Alert with Wellness Indicator
Dispose of your old cat litter and thoroughly wash and dry the litter box. Pour a layer of Perfect Litter on the bottom of the litter box and cover with your old litter; 1/3 Perfect Litter to 2/3 old litter. As you clean the box, refill with Perfect Litter until the old litter is no longer being used. If your cat reluctant or hesitant, sprinkle a little catnip in the box.
This product is a great idea, but my "fur kids" did not really like it. Even when it was introduced gradually. My kids are of the older generation and a bit picky. This might be purrfect for younger kids. It is very easy to handle since it weighs practically nothing.
My two kitties had been using the litter for about a month and it was pink every time they went. Took them to the vet after trying homeopathic UTI remedies and the Vet tested their PH—she said it was fine. Perfect even. Not sure the kitty litter has much point.
I gave this litter 4 stars for what it can accomplish if your feline has internal issues like urinary tract infection and the litter will change colors. However, this litter which is very light, gets into the paws and feet of cats more so that other litters and they track it all over the house. I have two litter stations at each end of our home. I have several heavy duty litter pads at each station, which have always worked well. This litter escapes due to it's lightness and everyday I need to vacuum the pads. So, I still have an unused bag I will keep on hand in the event I feel one of our 3 cats may be having an issue. But, the existing litter will need to be used up and I cannot wait until it's all gone. Way too messy!
I would absolutely recommend this litter and will definitely buy it again. Extremely light weight! No odor which I like. My cat likes it which is even better. Try this litter next and see it for yourselves. The info on the back of bag is interesting and helpful. Deb
First off this litter is so lightweight the ceiling fan blew it out of the box. Second, my cat peed in it and it turned bright red to I freaked out and made a Vet. appointment cause the bag says "turns color" when they are "sick" . Turns out nothing is wrong with him so that was a expensive lesson. Sometimes they pee in this litter and it turns red, sometimes pink and sometimes does not change at all and all in the same day. Overpriced and pointless. Lesson learned.
Not clay. More like paper popcorn. Not clumping like clay. Description misleading. Most critters would chew on this so not sure about that. But for others. . .?
I ordered this litter to help monitor my cat as he recovers from a urinary blockage. It’s very easy to see traces of blood, it clumps well so I can keep an eye on how much urine he produces, and though my vet let me know that urine pH isn’t an entirely reliable sign of issues, I’ll take any edge I can get. The litter does track quite badly, and it isn’t great for odor control. However, I think all lightweight litter will track more than heavier particles, and it’s easier to clean up than clay. It’s also inexpensive enough to replace fairly frequently. While it does take a bit longer to clean the box and some scoops might be too fine for the bigger particles to pass through, most dollar store scoops should do the trick. I wouldn’t use this as the primary litter (they have two other boxes with clumping clay litter), I’m quite satisfied to keep using it as a supplemental monitoring tool.
This is by far the worst litter I have ever used, After the first use I threw the bag away, was not even worth using again!
Last night I came home and found the clump of litter was dark pink. I kind of freaked and that is actually why I haven't before tried any of these kinds of litter, because I knew I'd be stressed every time I scooped. But looking online, it seems uti issues are very common and can be managed. I ordered a supplement to add to the food and then, if it goes on, I'll call the vet. This litter is very very light and the clumps are so so, but I like that it's easy for me to carry and pick up. I'm glad to know now to look into the ph issue - and that I don't need to panic.
After reading the reviews, I thought it was good and natural so I purchased for my cat, but it turned out this litter has plenty of tracking everywhere!! I have to clean up everywhere my cat’s paws brought the pieces of litters with him. And, it doesn’t clump well. Thus, this litter is a big no-no if you do not want this litter scattering everywhere and less of clump.
