My Sharpei dog is allergic to chicken and I see this is chicken flavored but in the ingredients you didn't use chicken. However it does say that natural poultry flavor was added. Was the poultry flavor stuff made from/with chicken?

According to PetHonesty, if a label mentions a meat/animal, it should be assumed that it contains such meat, which the Allergy Support+ does. The chicken flavor is specific to 2 organs and is not sorted based off cage-free status or organic status. However, in its nature this is an upcycled flavoring, meaning that it is a by-product of production for more desirable cuts, and is a very sustainable option for flavorings as it allows them to minimize waste.

This product states that you can notice improvement after one jar. I noticed durastic improvement immediately after her first chew. And her itching and chewing was really bad. Worth every penny!

I use this for my French Bulldog and English Bulldog mix. They both were on Apoquel for skin allergies and seasonal allergies, but I just couldn’t afford it anymore

I use this for my French Bulldog and English Bulldog mix. They both were on Apoquel for skin allergies and seasonal allergies, but I just couldn’t afford it anymore. I have been using this for awhile and I noticed a difference within a week. My French Bulldog is unsure about the taste so I just break it up and mix it in his food and he eats it no problem. Both of my dogs have sensitive tummies and I’ve had no problems. It checks every box!

Hope is a wonderful but very itchy dog! We were trying this to see if adding this to her Apoquel would help stop her chewing on her feet and body? If she didn't see you open the jar, you could cover it in peanut butter and place it between 2 pieces of her favorite nudge she might eat it Otherwise, it was a quick escape out her doggie door to avoid eating it! When she ate it we saw no improvement sadly!

I’ve been using Pet Honesty Max Strength Allergy chews for about four weeks now. While I haven’t been able to completely wean my 100lb husky/malamute mix off Apoquel,

I’ve been using Pet Honesty Max Strength Allergy chews for about four weeks now. While I haven’t been able to completely wean my 100lb husky/malamute mix off Apoquel, I have managed to reduce both the dosage and frequency. Over the past two years, he was on 1.5 pills daily from March to October. Now, I sometimes give him either half a pill or one pill approximately every 48 hours. Although I still hope to stop the Apoquel entirely, this reduction in both frequency and dosage feels like a win. I’ve tried several highly reviewed alternative brands, but they did not work for him. I’m grateful to have finally found something that has helped.
