what size for a 9 lb. dog?

The sizing chart may be located by clicking the “Size” tab, on the product page. To select the best size we recommend that you measure your dog's length, chest girth (circumference) and neck girth (circumference). To measure the length you'll measure starting at the base of the neck and end at the base of the tail. To measure the chest girth you'll measure around the broadest part of the rib-cage behind the front legs and to measure for the neck girth you'll measure at the broadest part of the neck. If the dog happens to be in between sizes, it's then recommended to select the bigger size.

Is this an item for dogs with no tails?

This hoodie has an open space in the rear for a dog's tail. It can be used with dogs who do not have a tail or a long tail.

Name is misleading

Not a hoodie. Bought to keep my elderly dog warm. Its super thin. No hood. Hard to get in. Gets soaking wet super fast

In theory this is a great idea. I opened 2( somehow I got 4 instead of 3) and tried to get my girls into these. Now, mind you I had measured all of them, 1. the

In theory this is a great idea. I opened 2( somehow I got 4 instead of 3) and tried to get my girls into these. Now, mind you I had measured all of them, 1. the zipper is on the bottom so I had to put them on their back to zip up. That was tricky. 2. The zippers aren't great and will fail long before the fabric does. 3. there should have been leg measurements. My smallest dogs needed an x small not a small ( as I ordered. My medium dog needs a small not a medium. 4 the material is kind of slippery and because my dogs are low to the ground the leg material kept sliding down and they couldn't walk because their feet got stuck in the leg holes. The positive is that they didn't have to wear a bunch of sweaters. I sent them with the little suit and one heavy sweater. It began to rain and tho the sweaters were damp they were wet except feet and faces. The suit protected them I guess. I wish this company would make suggestions for what sizes might fit what breed of dogs. I am still debating these and tho I love the idea; a bit disappointed.

Seems to work well, but does not fit my dog.

I measured my dog and her measurements were falling between two different sizes. But I went with the larger size since I did not want her to not fit it at all and

But I went with the larger size since I did not want her to not fit it at all and the measurement they claimed was the most important fit into the larger option. Unfortunately, it is way too big for my dog. When I had her try it on we went out in the cold and she definitely stayed warm, so great product for that, just too big for my dog (especially in the legs).
