Very hard to position the light to actually see the quick and blood line. If you have a jumpy pet def don’t buy. If you have a calm animal I recommend regular clippers

The nail clipper blades are of very poor quality. does not cut the nails for even small dogs. the blades need to be sharper and more stable.
