Is this thick enough to provide warmth for a short haired dog while inside? Is there a lining under the zipper so it doesn’t rub?

This polyester, nylon, and spandex blend hoodie that maintains body temperature, however, it may not be thick enough to warm pets in freezing temperatures. This jacket features a small bit of black fabric lining beneath the zipper to help prevent coat snagging.

I was a little disappointed that there is a size chart, not showing the breed and what size they can wear, but instead I never measured my dog. I just chose to purchase the same size in another sweater that I ordered. It looks great and I would definitely recommend this product.
