I see that the pad turns off at a certain temperature, but does it turn back on after it cools down?

The pad automatically turns off around 50℃, and automatically turns back around 30℃.

How does the cooling system work?

Powered at the push of the button, when set to 'Cooling Mode' the button turns BLUE and the silently powered fan located inside the house is activated and directly cools the interior through cycled air. When set to 'Heating Mode' the heating nodes located inside the memory foamed cushion begin to activate and a light warming sensation is comfortably applied to the pad.

Can I use this outdoors but on our front porch?

Hot setting wont work at all.

Initially bought this because of the way it looked. Not so much for the fan or heating. I admit, I didn’t read the one review that was on here, but when I received it, I saw that the house came with the 2 features. I was excited to try it but once I did, I was really disappointed. The fan is a tiny vent and is loud when it turns on. Scared my dog. And the heated bed part just doesn’t work at all. But like I said, I just got it for the house. Aesthetically, It’s great, easy to put together, easy to clean, looks sleek and isn’t an eye sore compared to a crate or soft crate.
