How do I measure her foot confused she is 40 pounds first time buying shoes

The sizing chart may be located by clicking the “Size” tab, on the product page. To select the best size we recommend that you measure your dog's paw length and width, while they are standing. To measure the paw length you'll measure starting at the front to back. To measure the paw width, you'll measure from side to side. If the dog happens to be in between sizes, it's then recommended to select the bigger size.
Do they have a way of fitting them, (like with velcro or something similar), so they stay on the paws?
