Instructions

Holding the paw firmly, trim top of nail with a single stroke. Be careful to stop short of the quick, the blood vessel inside the nail. Use safety stop to prevent trimming nails too short. If pet's nails are very long, trim a small amount. Repeat every 7-10 days until nails are at desired length. Monthly trimming should be sufficient thereafter.

    my dog actually sits still

    By on

Many clippers make a lot of noise as you clip the dogs nails. These are quiet and my dog finally sits still for me to get his nails done. Very happy customer

    Best bang for your buck.

They get the job done. I like the little nail file it comes with to smooth down the edges.

    Great for any size dog!

I used these on my 55lb boxer, and our golden retriever puppy, and it works so good for the both of them! And the little file that comes with it is nice for the nails that are a little rough!

    Works as expected

    By on

Nice materials, sturdy and works as expected. The large dog I used it on seemed uncomfortable with the process itself, but he did let me cut some of his nails and each cut was clean with no slipping. I felt confident that I could take a second to make sure I wouldn't cut his quicks (he has black claws) and then make the cut without the blades slipping higher up the claw even if he moved his paw a little.

    Poor Quality

    By on

Out of the package a plastic cosmetic piece fell off.... ok, no big deal, I “pressed it back on.” A few days later I had the opportunity to cut my fur baby’s nails (medium sized dog, approx 60 lbs) and find these are not sharp at all and did a “ragged” job. Maybe that’s why they supply a nail file? He tolerates nail trimming well but I’m afraid he would be “spooked” by the filing. “Chewy” was more than accommodating to my concerns and without question made a full refund.

Very nice dog clippers! I have had others that were poor quality & didn't function properly in the past. These are great!
