Very soft and cozy bed
This is a really nice cozy bed for my kitty. I put one of his toys in it to get him to go in and he fit perfectly. He is a big kitty, 16 lbs, and he fit very well, with room to move around and sleep. It seems very well made and he has no problem getting in and out of it. If I want to clean the cat hairs off I can turn it inside out to brush it. He is a Ragdoll so he has lots of hair.
Disappointed
The picture shows it as gold but the description said brown. It's VERY gold. I was a little disappointed in that but the color is acceptable. However, we've had this for 2 or 3 weeks now and my cat won't have anything to do with it. She will stick her head in it or reach in it for a toy if I put one in there, but she will NOT go in it or lay on it. Maybe in time she will but for now it just lays on the floor. I really thought she would love it because she LOVES the little "forts/hideaways" I fix for her using a throw blanket. She also loves burrowing under the sheets on my bed but, for whatever reason, she wants nothing to do with this product.
Cat loves it
My cat loves this cave and falls asleep in it every night. She also really likes the blanket that came with the cave and loves to knead with it. I like this product because it is a self warming cave, and I did not want to worry about any faulty electric things
Perfect for my cat
I’ve only had this bed for 24 hours but it’s very quickly become my cats favorite place to sleep. It’s cooler in my house so the self warning feature is perfect. She has spent so much time in this cave and just looks so comfortable. She is a long haired cat, around 10 or 11 pounds, and she has plenty of room.
Cave-dwelling cat loves it!
One of our two kitties loves caves that we build for her out of blankets and pillows, so we gave this a try--and it's a huge success! This gives her a comfy and happy place to relax at any time. She curls up in the very back of the cave, and she looks soooo happy when we poke our heads in to say hi.
It only took 2 days...
Boom! I love it! The first day I was scared of it cuz it looked like the blankie she wraps me in when I have to go to the vet. 2nd day I sat on it for a while and it was comfy. Got chilly in late afternoon so I burrowed down inside and didn't want to come out till she called me for supper. Toasty warm in this drafty old house. I'm a great burrower so this is my fave now. It fits me great cuz I'm a lean little 11 pounder. She likes it too cuz she hates when I hair up the bed burrowing under the covers. I give it five paws.
Self Warming Cat Cave
Our youngest cat climbed right in and took a nap. But our older, larger cat prefers to sleep on top and not in the cave, thus flattening it for all others. I may put a "brace" on one side of the opening so "lard butt" can't totally flatten it! No matter how they sleep on or in it, they seem to enjoy it!!
Would buy again
The cats love to sit on the cave and the included blanket. None of them have caught onto going inside of it. The texture, colors, and size are just right. Cant blame the mfg - they made a nice product
Soft and cozy
My cat only figures out how to wiggle her way in there occasionally. Sometimes I have to hold it open for her to make it work. She does seem to love laying on top of it as well, so as long as she's happy, so am I.
if your cat crawls under the covers, get this
Well, I took this photo 10 mins after I unwrapped the thing. She crawled right in. Perfect, cozy, cave. I thought I’d have to put some catnip in there first. Nope.
