I do not see washing instructions on the ones I received. How do you wash these? By hand or machine? Do they have to hang to dry or can I put them in the dryer? Can I use bleach?

Machine washable is the best and easiest way to clean them. There is no special washing instruction. You can wash as regular setting with cold/warm wash.

With this product, does one then put a disposable diaper inside of the belly wrap?

The product itself is the diaper and is washable. However, pads or liners can be inserted as well if you prefer.

The reusable male diaper is much better than the disposable ones in my opinion. These are larger than the disposable ones. My 16 year old dog does not hold his pee well. I also found a natural sea kelp and sea moss supplement helped with this, decreasing the diuretic hormone. He ruins floors and I have plastic everywhere. Now, with the washable nappies, everything is clean. I put some dog balm I made on his tummy to decrease irritiation after I take the nappy off. He likes wearing it too.

I want to thank the people at chewy, they are incredible people! I made a purchase (one of many) but this was for belly band's(washable) for my male pup, we had a few already, but he was going through them quicker than I could wash them, so I placed an order for more, and decided to get some larger ones because he is growing faster than expected. When we got the box, we were accidentally given a size small. It was on a Saturday eve, I messaged a young lady, and she said no worries! We will get the correct size sent to you, and to donate the small ones to a local shelter (loved this idea!) Today, Monday, the package already got here!! We figured maybe by Thursday, but it was here today! I can not put into words how grateful I am! And also grateful to not have to keep washing so often! This is a company with a heart, excellent customer service and unbelievable fast service! I am a loyal customer and will continue to tell every person with an animal to stop at chewy! Thank you all, and I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday and beyond!

Use caution when wrapping elastic around anyone who can’t speak for their own comfort. The measurement for these is stretched or extended. For safety of my 2 GCH. boys I will have to put on at loosest possible adjustment. Besides their reproductive health, their general health will be watched closely. I will also limit the time they wear them. Caution to ppl using on male dogs, do not put to much tension when wrapping your boys!

Our cat Miss Lippy had to have some abdominal masses removed. She only had 3 legs and being in a cone was an extra hardship for her. These belly bands worked so perfectly to wrap around her belly and protect her incisions. It's like they were made for her during a time when she really needed comfort. They are machine washable and the velcro made them easy to put on and take off.

For light leakers these are great. These got soggy when used for a full bladder, but worked great for my elderly baby when he just needed some overnight protection. Be wary of keeping your pup clean and dry. Boys are inclined to getting UTIs. Also, these were not as good in the washer as another brand. There is a big overlap of the grippy velcro, which will catch on anything else in the wash. They're easy to handwash.
