Grippers.

If you happen to walk on the pads, they don’t slip. They gripped the floor. Regular pee pads slip all over the floor.

Have had these a long time now. Many uses beyond puppy training!

I rescue dogs and can say that I have tried many different absorbent pads and have found these were among my favorite and I use them for all kinds of things now.....under

I rescue dogs and can say that I have tried many different absorbent pads and have found these were among my favorite and I use them for all kinds of things now.....under water dishes, and when bathing --- I put them on the floor because the dogs will usually lay on the floor sopping wet as I'm simultaneously drying them on the side they are not laying on and these mats absorb a majority of the moisture instead of going through a gazillion towels. I have read the other reviews here and have to say that I'm somewhat shocked that they didn't find them absorbant enough and I have a suspicion that they might not have laundered them properly --- likely on accident. You see, with absorbent pads like this, you CAN NOT dry them in the dryer without risk of ruining their water-repelling side. If the coating breaks down, things like this don't work as intended. If a mega soak of water from bathing a dog doesn't break the barrier I'm not sure what would other than leaving the pads soaking for too long. I guess that could be another factor. Second to these I have a set that have a heavy plastic barrier bottom with a cotton like top....they also work great but they take FOREVER to air dry because of the plastic bottom -- hence making these my favorite.

Nice, BUT

Puppy ripped finished ends off instantly. Mat poorly sewn beneath finished ends. Will need heftier finish stitch to even use them.

tile floor saver

i use these under my wee pads. normal they rarely get wet but if i am to slow in changing the top wee pads these will catch it all. i almost don't need wee wee pads

Not fully waterproof
