I personally don't do rawhide for my pups but love having treats they can gnaw on for a bit. These rawhide free treats were an exciting option. They broke up into smaller pieces when my dogs ate them so I wasnt worried about them getting a huge chunk stuck in their bellies, but I did expect the bones for large dogs to be a bit bigger. It didnt take my dogs long to get through one. For an extra special daily treat these are a good option, but if you are hoping for a long lasting and stimulating chewing option, a butcher bone is probably a better bet.

Stella really enjoyed these treats, and I like that they are hide free. Average chew time was about 4-5 minutes, which is pretty typical for her since she is very food motivated and a fast eater. The treats are not messy or crumbly, and she clearly loved the taste - I even caught her licking the carpet after eating one just in case there was any left. The only concern I had was that she was able to quickly break off the knobby ends, which are fairly large. It was not an issue for her since she was able to crunch them up into smaller pieces in her mouth, but could be for some dogs. For reference, Stella is a border collie mix and weighs about 40 pounds.

They were a reasonable size for a snack, but my 60+ lb dogs could have eaten at least 2 of them. Overall they were great and the dogs seemed to really like them.

Overall he seemed to enjoy it! The bones are smaller than I thought so I thought it was odd it was geared toward medium to large dogs (Jasper is 65 pounds). He did chew on it with his side teeth, so I suppose it it an adequate size for him. I would make sure to supervise any dog eating these; it seems to crunch easily into pieces. Either way, he digested it just fine and seemed to enjoy it!

All three of my dogs loved these. They smell just like chicken bullion cubes, I personally think its a good smell but some might not. I have to get a size that worked for all my dogs so they were a little undersized for one of my dogs but she still took about 20 minutes to finish it, the rest of the dogs took longer to finish the chew the smaller the dog got so the proper size could get you close to an hour of chill time.
